Briefing Session for Volunteers (Singapore Arts Festival 2012)

Singapore Arts Festival 2012 requires volunteers for various roles from 18 May to 2 June. You are cordially invited to attend the briefing session on 29 February (Wednesday) at 4pm to hear more about the roles available. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for you to be part of Singapore Arts Festival 2012.

1. Volunteer Hosts for World of Stories Exhibition/ Exhibition Host
Good for... people who loves to interact with the public and educate them on the exhibition.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide relevant information and answer enquiries about the exhibition and the festival
• Assist with activities held at the exhibition
• Guide visitors around the exhibitions
• Ensure smooth running of the exhibition on site

2. Volunteer Guides for Festival Village/ Festival Village Host
Good for... people who like to interact with members of the public and enjoy the experience of hosting and managing an arts village. The Festival Village will be located at the Esplanade Park.

Your commitment:

• Willing to volunteer from 3pm -11 pm on Sunday-Thursday (Shifts available)
• Willing to volunteer from 3pm -11 pm on Friday and Saturday (Shifts available)
• You can choose to work either weekdays/weekends or both from 18 May to 2 June
• 2 compulsory training sessions will be provided in April and May 2012 (Dates to be advised later)
