Mentoring Programme :
 |
provides
emotional and social support to primary
school children aged 7 to 12 years from
disadvantaged families |
|
helps inculcate
the discipline of daily study and homework
complementing the role of teaching staff
and helps to impart good social values and
life skills to the students |
|
contributes to intergenerational
integration |
A mentor must commit himself/herself to a full
academic year, once a week for 3 hours before
or after school hours, depending on the school's
request. Training is provided.
