Active Senior in his eighties still doing his part for the community. You can, too.
Mr Raymon Huang aged 83 will be walking the streets this 2 July as part of RSVP's Flag Day. Age is just a number to Raymon who keeps himself busy with volunteering work. He was previously the Director of Commercial Operations ( Radio ), Singapore Broadcasting Corporation , Chairman, Board of Film Censors and Director of Marketing & Deputy Executive Director of Singapore Tourist Promotion Board.
Raymon will be joined by fellow volunteers from RSVP Singapore, friends and students to sell flags to raise funds so that our seniors can share and serve the community through RSVP's community service programmes . The beneficiaries of the programmes include at risk school children, rehabilitating mental patients, frail elderly, aged sick and other seniors. To make the Flag Day a fun day, RSVP volunteers will be giving away floral ribbons and sculptured balloons to donors.
Help us raise the much needed funds so that our seniors can continue with their good work of sharing and serving the community. Contact RSVP Singapore- The Organisation of Senior Volunteers at Tel: 62590805 to register as a flag day volunteer or you can adopt a can at $50 each by sending us a cheque made payable to ‘RSVP Singapore' and indicate that it is for can adoption.
