Cyberguide Programme

This programme promotes IT skills among seniors with the help of volunteer seniors teaching other seniors. Over the years, our active trainers and assistant trainers have trained thousands of seniors at the RSVP Infocomm Centre at our premises.  It holds a number of IT courses.

Over the years, RSVP’s reputation teaching seniors IT skills has garnered many achievements. It became the first IDA-appointed Silver Infocomm Junction in November 2007.

In July 2009, RSVP established a partnership with Microsoft in its Microsoft Unlimited Potential Programme to equip seniors with employable IT skills using Microsoft 2007 software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

RSVP is also a Certiport-certified testing centre in Singapore where we run examinations and have trainers trained under RSVP and certified as Microsoft Office Specialist 2007.

Our computer courses include:

iBEGIN Courses: Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA)-approved courses that guide seniors on basic usage of the computer and the Internet.

Practice Sessions

Cyberguide also organises practice sessions for participant who have taken the computer courses at RSVP. The practice sessions are:

• Tuesday & Thursday - 12.30pm to 2.30pm (M: $2 | NM:$4)
• Saturday - 2pm and 5pm (M: $3 | NM:$6)
