Volunteers serve at two-day care centres run by the Occupational Therapy Department of IMH located above Bukit Batok Polyclinic and the Octave@Cantonment. They help with recreational and educational activities. |

MDOP has a need for volunteers with diverse skills to offer. Even if you feel that you have nothing unique to offer, a big heart is all that is required. Join MDOP today! |

REQUIREMENTS: On-the-job training of basic psychosocial and rehabilitative approaches is provided for all volunteers in this programme. Those interested to join MDOP, please contact Gary Loke at 6259 0802 or email him at sploke@rsvp.org.sg. |
This programme, which is in partnership with the Institute of Mental Health (IMH), has volunteers who act as befrienders to rehabilitating mental patients helping them ease back into the society.
They also befriend residents at IMH wards who have none or few visitors.Make a Donation
