Senior Guiding

RSVP provides guiding services at:

NEWater Visitor Centre/PUB - Volunteers guide students on an exciting, comprehensive and mentally-stimulating tour of the Centre's gallery. They also facilitate the Outdoor Classroom workshop at the Centre where they teach students using simple laboratory tests on water chromatography and osmosis.
Marina Barrage - Volunteers act as Senior Ambassadors over the weekends at the Barrage as they talk to visitors on water conservation and caring for the environment.
Science Centre Singapore - Here, volunteers provide guiding services at the many galleries, actively communicating and engaging visitors at the Centre.
Envision Gallery/Ministry of Environment & Water Resources - Volunteers conduct structured gallery tours for visitors who are secondary students and share with them the Singapore environment journey and its vision.
KK women's & children's hospital - Here, volunteers provide general directions & assistance to visitors at concierge locations.

Heritage Conservation Centre - Here volunteers conduct structured tour for groups of visitors who are of secondary level & above, with the objective of understanding how National Heritage Board manage, care for and facilitate access to the heritage collections.

KHOO TECK PUAT HOSPITAL NEW! - Here volunteers conduct structured tour for groups from schools or general public and provide interpretation assistance to visitors or doctors.

MARITIME EXPERIENTIAL MUSEUM & AQUARIUM (MEMA) NEW! - Here, volunteers conduct structured tour for groups from schools, with the objective of familiarising students on the Maritime Experiential Museum & Aquarium's main galleries and facilities.

REQUIREMENTS: We are actively recruiting & training new guides for the various venues. A commitment of AT LEAST 6 MONTHS is required for each venue. Volunteers will undergo an interview for suitability and training will be provided before guiding begins. The volunteer hours may vary from two to four hours.
